What are you doing here?
You are at the home page for your database account. From the home page, you can select the task you want to perform.
How to do it?
Click on the drop-down menu to see a list of all the tasks you can perform. Click on a task to select it, then click the 'Go' button to start the task.
Information buttons
From the home page, you can also access information about NLIS by clicking on the buttons at the top of the screen:
- Home
- Returns to your home page. Click this button when you have finished what you are doing and want to select another task.
- Contacts
- Provides contact details for the NLIS Database Helpdesk and local State Departments.
- Help tools
- Provides access to training tools, user guides and Help Desk details.
- Glossary
- lists common terms used throughout the NLIS Database.
- NLIS information
- Provides general information about NLIS and how the system operates. It also provides access to NLIS equipment guides.
- Terms of use
- Allows you to view the NLIS Database Terms of Use.
- Sitemap
- Lists all the items you can access on your account. You can go to any task by clicking on the link.
- Log out
- Logs you out of the NLIS Database and returns to the home page. You should click the 'Log out' button when you have finished using the NLIS Database. If you are logged on, but have not used the site for over 10 minutes, the NLIS Database will automatically log you out.
